XR Design Project - "Forbes AR Magazine"
Role: XR Product Designer
Project Overview: The "Forbes AR Magazine" project represents a forward-thinking approach to blending traditional media with augmented reality (AR). As the XR Product Designer, I contributed to creating an interactive platform that reimagines how users engage with Forbes Magazine’s content by incorporating AR technology.
Design Concept: The primary goal of "Forbes AR Magazine" was to offer users an immersive experience that brings the magazine’s pages to life. By focusing on user interaction and accessibility, the design aimed to seamlessly merge print media with the digital world.
Key Features:
Augmented Reality Experience:
The app uses AR technology to animate the pages of Forbes Magazine, allowing users to interact with content in a new and engaging way. This approach enhances the traditional reading experience by adding a layer of interactivity.
Intuitive UI/UX Design:
I worked on designing an interface that is user-friendly and modern. The UI/UX design prioritizes easy navigation and a pleasant user experience, ensuring that users can explore the magazine’s content with minimal effort.
Custom 3D Models:
I developed 3D assets to support the AR features, helping to visually enrich the content. These models were designed to be integrated seamlessly into the AR environment, contributing to the overall immersive experience.
Unity Integration:
My responsibilities included integrating the UI/UX design and 3D models within the Unity platform. This integration ensured that the app functioned smoothly and aligned with the project’s immersive goals.
Outcome: "Forbes AR Magazine" provides a new way for users to engage with business content by combining traditional and digital media through AR. The project reflects a careful balance of design and technology, offering a fresh perspective on how magazines can evolve in the digital age.
